The ‘invention of the year’ , YouTube is making a deal with Verizon to bring it’s videos to mobile phones and TV sets. This way, Verizon users could watch the videos from YouTube website directly on their mobile phone or TV.
Verizon wireless may get exclusive rights to offer YouTube’s videos to it’s users.

Mozilla is moving really fast and has released the final version of Firefox 2.

Mark Jaquith posted in his personal blog the changes coming in Wordpress 2.0.5 that is going to be released soon. The release candidate is already available for the testers.
We should also expect the release of Wordpress 2.1 soon, as they are already planning the changes.

Text Link Ads has recently launched a new blog comparison tool, that tells you how much ‘juice’ your blog has. You can also compare your blog with others from it’s niche.
The ‘juice’ is counted using the following stats: Bloglines (40%), Alexa (15%), Technorati (30%), Links (15%).

It seems this is the final decision, Google will acquire YouTube stocks and run it under the same brand, not rebrand it to Google Videos, as some had said.
YouTube will run in the same format as until now, with all its employees and in the same place. Practically there is just a change of ownership [...]

Microsoft has finally launched the Live.com Search oficially. for me, it seems to be the same MSN search, redesigned.
Anyway, that could be a big step for Microsoft in the fight with Google for the search engines market. Currently, Google has the Monopoly and nobody seems to be able to subclass it.

Google started to update the IBLs at some datacenters. We surely now that this datacenter is updated.
It may be the final update or a test for the upcoming update. We will find out for sure soon.
Also, after the IBL update, a PR update is predicted to come. It would be an unexpected move for Google, [...]

You can download Firefox 2.0 beta 2 from here. It has been launched today and until now i haven`t seen anything changed, excepting the icons and the tabs transparency.
