I have been using AuctionAds for the last weeks, without having much visitors, but from 25,000 impressions, 390 clicks I’ve earned $11.74. I don’t have a good ad placement for AuctionAds, but it has a decent CTR of 1.55%, that, unfortunately, doesn’t generate revenue.
About two months ago i was enthusiastic when after a few days of using it i got a $16.40 commission from a click, but since then everything seems to have been turned bad.
Also, their reporting graphs are wrong and have almost no relevance to the reports. Here’s an example where you can see that my $.78 commission is placed above the $1 point, but still at another $1 point. That really is confusing. See for yourself:

Shoemoney definitely has a lot to improve until it can get good results and offer a high quality service. There are a lot of users complaining that they are getting extremely low CPM.
There also are moments when neither the website or the ads are loading, so my website has either an empty zone or a zone with “page not found” error. That’s very frustrating for us, the users and unprofessional for them.
So, at least for me, AuctionAds is not a good option for monetizing my website.
Shoemoney, no offence, this is my sincere opinion on AuctionAds and this is my experience with the system.

I am happy with adsense… Why don’t you use adsense?
for 390 clicks you should have had at least 20$…

I’ve had some bad experiences with AuctionAds as well. But I keep reading good stuff about it around on other sites.
I think there might be some sites that are more relevant to that kind of advertising than others, and that might be a reason for the different experiences that people have around the web.

I thought they would do better but they didn’t perform well on my site so I took them off. They could probably work good on the right sites, but just not mine. Oh well.

How are they paying? Only PayPal or also check / wire transfer?
Cause in my location i can’t use PayPal to receive payments.

I tried AuctionAds for a while and just not got the results that would make it worth to take my visitors eyes away from adsense so I took it off.

I also have problems with auctionads
- Ive yet to be paid an amount that matches with what the reports say ive earnt.
- Reported earnings changed overnight a few times
- one day you might earn something then nothing for 2 weeks
- if you post a negative comment on their blog it will be removed
- lots of times ads dont show or the site doesnt work
- after contacting support asking for answers to above issues got a one line answer that didnt help much
its a pity they are not more open about things as im sure everyone would like to see it become a success as we all like to find a new way of earning a few $$

Aww. That’s sad. But it’s a good thing that you posted this. At least bloggers out there would know about this issue. I guess adsense is still the best way to go.

Most people don’t buy thru Auction Ads. They usually buy at ebay directly.

I’ve only put them on one site and so far have found it to be better than Adsense. The blog has quite low traffic so I’m going to try it out on some other sites which have better traffic. I just wish AuctionAds could read the content of the page rather than you having to type in keywords.

I was excited at first, and my experience was similar to yours. Big payout initially that has tapered right off since then. I’m disappointed because I thought I’d finally found a viable adsense alternative.
Do you drive a safe car?

If you get $ .78 for one click, well mate, that is not bad at all !

Good luck!
Don’t know what is your website about, but for sure something good for ADs
I’m using Adsense, and never tried something else so far.
Usually it’s 1$ avg. , but few days ago I was impressed with $ 9.60 that day
I don’t know, but I’m for Adsense.

auctionads did nothing for me, neither did amazon. I’m keeping amazon only because the holidays are just around the corner and I am hoping they produce. So far adsense has done ok and it stays.

Auctionads do not work for me, only $1 per month revenue.
I just give up the auctionads

At least this is better than my Adsense earnings. I’m going to try them out.
