Google Adsense has made an improvement and is preparing us another one. Now we can place ads on password protected pages, too.
Here is what you have to do to place Adsense on password protected pages:
- Log into Sitemaps using your AdSense login. You must be using your AdSense login in order for any changes you make in Sitemaps to be reflected in your AdSense account.
- Add a site to your account by following these instructions.
- After you’ve followed the instructions, on the next page, choose the Verify your site link under the >> Next step section. If you can’t find it, then go back to the Sitemaps homepage and then follow these directions.- To learn about the two specific types of verification, see verify using META or verify using HTML.
- To learn more about verification in general, see the Webmaster Help Center.
- If you’re having problems, see the Webmaster Help entry on errors for assistance.
The FAQ can be found here.
Also, there are rumors that Google wants to integrate Adsense with the Maps Api, so you can use the maps on your websites for your and your visitor’s needs, that will contain ads. By adding your Adsense Publisher Code you may be able to get paid when the visitors click the ads.
This may not be the best for visitors, being stressful, but for the publishers.
