DigitalPoint Forums members have found new Google Adsense ads rebranded and in place of the text ‘Ads By Google’ there is the text ‘Ads By’ and a little logo writing ‘Google’ or ‘G’.
The new ads are really ugly and blending them with the website is now very hard or almost impossible, mostly that some of them have a white background color for ‘Ads By [logo]’ and, in this case, the blending is impossible. If this ads will remain, lots of publishers will have to replace and reoptimize their websites ads. Unfortunately, some won’t be able to optimize and blend them well, so, along with their sit becoming less good-looking, their CTR will decrease as well as their earnings.
So i consider this is a very bad move for Google, considering that they are running a brand improvement campaign for free, while serving their ads.
Here are some examples of rebranded ads:
This is an ad with the word ‘Google’ written in Google’s colors
This ad has replaced the word Google with a ‘G’ logo
This ads have replaced the word ‘Google’ with a black & white ‘Google’ logo
And one more
